During the period of the COVID-19 spread, masks had become essential to keep one healthy. But, they become an additional barrier in communication for people who have hearing impairments, as many rely on looking at the movement of one's mouth. Appreciate Ability intended to increase the availability of masks that include a clear window to ensure that those who are deaf or hard of hearing were still able to communicate. With the help of our amazing friends and family, we were able to donate  masks to Orange County's organizations tailored to helping people with disabilities.
